Kurt uses his Ascension Series as a type of biofeedback system. How so? Each piece of art work has its own corresponding music that when used together creates a multi-sensory experience and a direct effect on your physical being. All matter is influenced by sound, light/heat, energy fields etc. Every sensory experience; touch, taste, smell or thought and emotion you have creates chemical reactions in your body.

As particals of matter vibrate they can cause friction then in turn heat is created. Sound waves can vibrate matter/particles in your body; chemicals, minerals, fluids etc.

When exposed to light and color, synaptic reactions and chemicals in the brain are produced. While listening to music and sound, neural networks are created. Neural networks are the thinking pathways that allow us to think, feel and function in different ways. It also may be said that it is as if we are inheriting a new skill or ability when being exposed to various experiences.
